A great upgrade for my Asus Eee PC 900a August 31, 2010 William Graham I bought this to upgrade the OEM 1GB of ram that came with my Asus Eee PC 900a. Even though the manual doesn't specify PC2-6400 as being compatible it works great.
Works great - but was upgrade needed? August 30, 2010 F. Snyder I upgraded the 1GB memory in my just purchased Samsung NB30, Windows 7 Starter Netbook to 2GB with this memory replacement DDR2 module. Replacement was easy and the module works fine. I did this upgrade as a reactive task to earlier desktop and laptop upgrades. In hindsight, this upgrade might have been unnecessary. As advertised, Windows 7 is very memory efficient; while loading and using routine applications, memory usage rarely exceeds 1GB.
turned my netbook into a notebook August 30, 2010 Steven Azizo (NY, NY, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This small upgrade is a must. Computer runs at (twice the speed. Don't even bother getting netbook unlkess you are willing to upgrade to 2 gig ram
Works great! August 28, 2010 D. Jones I purchased this module for my Acer Aspire One A532h because of the many reviews here that said they didn't have a problem with it, and a lot of other brand netbooks didn't have a problem with it either. And neither did I. I popped it in and it was recognized right away with no problems at all.
Be mindful of Windows 7 starter supporting more than 1 Gb RAM. August 23, 2010 K S Ward (San Francisco, CA, US) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Purchasing 2Gb for my net-book using Windows 7 starter needed more research on my behalf. Windows 7 starter doesn't support more than 1 Gb RAM. I have since upgraded the O/S and now it is recognized and working perfectly. All in all, an expensive venture.
